DESCRIPTION:Please join us\, RAIN or SHINE\, for a 5K Run/Walk through beautiful Sands Point\, Long Island\, as we raise funds for programs and services that benefit people who are blind\, have low vision or have a combined hearing and vision loss.\nREGISTRATION INCLUDES:\n\n T-shirt (available only for people who have pre-registered for the in-person event) *\n\n Post-race lite bites and refreshments \n\n*Register by October 15th to guarantee T-shirt size. T-shirts are not guaranteed for same-day registration.\n\nRegistration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.\n\n\n\nWALKERS/RUNNERS:\n\nIndividuals of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate. Participants under 18 years of age must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.\n\nFunds raised from Helen's 5K Run/Walk 2024 will support HKS' Camp Helen Keller (CHK). HKSB offers a 5-week summer camp to children ages 4-15 who are blind or have low vision. With your support and sponsorship\, HKS will continue to provide this FREE camp to 50 amazing campers.
