It&rsquo\;s the summer of 1939. Trans-Atlantic air travel is brand new\, and Port Washington is home base to the majestic Pan Am Clipper flying boats\, the first great luxury airliners. News has just gotten around that the most talked-about celebrity newlyweds of the year are flying in on the Clipper from Marseilles\, and the whole town is thrown into a tizzy.
\n\nJoin the fun and be part of our &ldquo\;studio audience&rdquo\; as a talented cast gives voice to an array of vivid characters\, with live music and sound effects created right on stage. The hourlong performance will also feature period-style station breaks and songs between acts.
\n\n&ldquo\;Queen of the Skies&rdquo\; is the fifth original play to be premiered by the Landmark Radio Theater\, and the fourth to be set in Port Washington\, following &ldquo\;Off the Rails\,&rdquo\; &ldquo\;Undermined: Murder in the Sands\,&rdquo\; and last year&rsquo\;s &ldquo\;Cocktail Blues: A Tale of the Jazz Age.&rdquo\;
