DESCRIPTION:Raga Kids introduces children of all ages to the classical music of South Asia through singing\, active listening and interactive explorations into the world of Raga (melody) and Tala (rhythm).\n\nIn this performance you will learn about the violin\, sitar\, daf drum\, Indian solfege\, Tuvan throat singing and more. Longtime collaborators and co-founders of the musicians collective Brooklyn Raga Massive\, Trina Basu\, Arun Ramamurthy and Neel Murgai present a dynamic performance of original and traditional music that will have you singing\, dancing and clapping your hands in no time. www.ragakids.com\n\nThe concert will take place in Landmark's Main Street parking lot. Seating Pods of 2-4 persons will be marked out. A limited number of Reserved pods will be available for a slight additional charge. All other seating pods will be on a first come\, first served basis.\n\nIn the event of inclement weather\, performances will be moved indoors to the Jeanne Rimsky Theater on the Saturday as scheduled.
