PWPL invites you to our fourth annual outdoor Earth Day celebration at Sunset Park. Representatives from the Town of North Hempstead and other Port Washington environmental organizations will be on-site to share important information about their latest sustainability initiatives. Enjoy a concert of Beatles hits at the Sousa Bandshell, participate in our community art project, enjoy fun eco-friendly crafts, and take home some cool eco-friendly swag. The Earth Day celebration is funded by the PWPL Friends of the Library. The rain date is Saturday, April 27, from 2 to 4 pm.
