CourtSense is a family-focused tennis instruction group founded and operated by Matthew Kallenberg, a lifelong Port resident.
At Courtsense, the skill sets we focus on include player patience, player development, positive reinforcement, and the highest level of instruction possible for each individual. We offer both one-on-one and group lessons as well as cardio-tennis instruction. All instruction is customized to the player’s skills and objectives. Ages are from 4 years old through adult and offers family instruction in group lessons.
Matt brings deep experience to his clients, having been both playing and teaching competitive tennis instruction for over 10 years, achieving the NCJAA All-American award for both singles and doubles during his college years. In addition to giving private instruction to children and families, Mr. Kallenberg is currently teaching tennis instruction at the Plandome Country Club. His past experience includes serving as one of the tennis professionals at Parkwood Tennis Center in Great Neck NY as well as serving as the Head Coach for the Port Washington High School Boys Junior Varsity team.
