The role of the Sands Point Rehabilitation is to care for individuals with acute needs and provide them with exceptional rehabilitation throughout their recovery. Sands Point provides a safe, clean and appropriate supervision for their residents, appropriate diet for their health needs, access to medical care and rehabilitation, a pleasant atmosphere and encourages socialization with different activities. Family is an important link in the approach of our patients and remains essential that family relationships are maintained during their stay.
Sands Point Center provides in house doctors, RNs, LPNs, CNAs, Respiratory Therapy, Dieticians, Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy, Wound Care, Neuro-Rehabilitation, Amputee Rehabilitation, Stroke and TBIs therapy.
Sands Point Center is the first Accredited Vent Unit in New York State.
Sands Point Center is located 3 miles North of St. Francis Hospital.
