About Us

The Nicholas Center is a human service agency, a 501c3 with a social mission: to create innovative programs and services that allow Autistic individuals to learn, live and work in the community.

We focus on an individualized approach – meeting the person where they are – abilities, needs for support, interests, and goals — supporting individuals to learn critical life skills, improve social and communication abilities, gain meaningful vocational training, and engage in community projects.

The Nicholas Center has also been instrumental in the creation and success of micro-businesses where participants gain work skills or have secured employment, such as the TNC Chocolate Lab in Manorhaven. www.tncchocolatelab.org
